Education is essential to women’s ability to fully participate in climate action. Somali Women
demonstrate a stronger belief in the need for behavioral changes to reduce the effects of
climate change, but persistent education and employment barriers limit women’s capacity
to lead changes.

Therefore, SWECC will provide essential awareness, training and information campaigns
about Environmental and climate change issues.
